PAST PERFORMER BIOS
A versatile and multilingual artist, Nick Incarnato has performed to audience acclaim on stage and in concert. He has sung under the batons of such notable conductors as Anton Guadagno, Julius Rudel, Bruno Aprea, and Kamal Khan. His operatic roles include Rodolfo in La Boheme, Pinkerton in Madama Butterfly, Nemorino in L'Elisir D'Amore, il Duca in Rigoletto, and Don Alvaro in La Forza del Destino.
In addition to his stage credits Nick is also a featured soloist in concerts and recitals, and he created the role of Antoine in the first ever recording of Karlsen's Bernadette. Nick's 2007/2008 engagements include the roles of Turridu in Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana, Manrico in Verdi's Il Trovatore, and Rodolfo in Puccini's La Boheme.
A native of the Philadelphia area, Ms. Burstein has delighted audiences with her portrayals of Fiordiligi in Cosi fan tutte, Josephine in HMS Pinafore, Lauretta in Gianni Schicchi. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree from The Crane School of Music and a Master of Music degree from Northwestern University. In the Chicago area, Ms. Burstein has sung with the DuPage Opera, Evanston Light Opera, Savoy-Aires, and The Bowen Opera Company. In the Atlanta area, she has been a soloist with The St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, Summer Singers of Atlanta, Emory Presbyterian Church, and Mountain Park United Methodist Church, among others. Jill has attended The AIMS program in Graz, Austria; The Peter Harrower Summer Opera Workshop in Atlanta, Georgia; and The Crittenden Summer Opera Workshop in Washington, D.C Jill made her New York debut in the Bronx in A Verdi Marathon with The Pelham Bay Festival of Opera, and was the Mother In Amahl & the Night visitors with Adams Opera of America, Inc. Jill sang in the Manhattan Verdi Marathon and the Tampa Bay- Pinellas County Verdi Marathon with the Touring Concert Opera Company. She performed to rousing success in the Manhattan Mozart Marathon in New York city and was an ensemble member in Cavalleria Rusticana/I Pagliacci with The New Jersey Verismo Opera. Ms. Burstein just sang in the ensemble once again for New Jersey Verismo Opera, this time in Lucia di Lammermoor and performed to high praise in the Puccini Dames concert with the Touring Concert Opera Company in New York city. Jill has been just accepted for the 2008 Summer Opera Program of Opera Festival di Roma and wil be deciding her plans for 2008 in coming months as she has other auditions been granted starting in January 2008.
American baritone, Martin Fisher, began the 2007-08 season with an appearance at New York City Opera in Danielpour’s Margaret Garner, followed by the role of Gregorio (Romeo et Juliette) at Dicapo Opera. In March 2008, he will appear before the Federation of Hellenic Societies, singing the title role in a new symphonic work, Prometheus by Greek-Canadian composer Panayoti Karousos with the Astoria Symphony. Mr. Fisher will then perform the role of Marcello (La Bohéme) at the BergenPAC with New Jersey Association of Verismo Opera. He returns to the BergenPAC during the Fall 2008 as Escamillo (Carmen). Last season, he performed as the soloist in the Beethoven Ninth Symphony at Symphony Space in New York City, followed by an appearance at Alice Tully Hall in the American debut of the Japanese opera, Kurofune. In addition, he had the privilege of a cameo performance at the Opera Index Gala Foundation event honoring the legendary Jessye Norman. Mr. Fisher’s repertoire includes: Enrico (Lucia di Lammermoor), Sharpless (Madama Butterfly), Germont (La Traviata), Amonasro (Aida), Miller (Luisa Miller), Tonio (i Pagliacci), Grande Pretre (Samson et Dalila) and the title role in Rigoletto. A frequent recitalist and oratorio singer, Mr. Fisher has performed Handel's Messiah and Alexander's Feast, Milhaud's les Choephores, Schumann's Dichterliebe as well as Vaughan Williams' song cycle for baritone, chorus, and orchestra Five Mystical Songs. Venturing beyond operatic repertoire, he can be heard on the album Barrelhouse to Broadway, which won a 2008 Grammy Award for Best Producer. In recent months, he has also added film acting to his list of credits. The Camden, New Jersey native is a 2006 and 2007 finalist in the Paul Robeson Competition, and the 2002 grant winner from the Source of New York Foundation. 

Maria Cristina Keightley, soprano, was born in England and graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts, Melbourne, Australia. After winning a number of awards at local competitions Ms. Keightley continued her career in the United States where she was a finalist in the Palm Beach Opera and New York Vocal Artists Competitions. Operatic roles include Mimi (La Boheme), Fiordiligi (Cosi Fan Tutte), Cleopatra (Giulio Cesare), Despina (Cosi Fan Tutte), Ilia (Idomeneo), Adina (L'Elisir D'Amore), Euridice (Orfeo ed Euridice), Zerlina (Don Giovanni), Rosina (Il Barbiere di Siviglia), and Lady Maude (Eileen) among others. Ms. Keightley was a two-time recipient of scholarships enabling her to perform with the acclaimed Aspen Opera Theatre Center, Colorado where she appeared in Suor Angelica and Dialogues of the Carmelites under the respective batons of Julius Rudel and James Conlon, and performed the world premiere of "Still Song" by Joshua Kleinfeld. A fine interpreter of the classical song literature, Ms. Keightley is also in great demand for concert appearances and has concertized throughout the world, appearing in recital with Eril Bassed in Melbourne (Australia), with Janet De Chambrier in Houston, with Inessa Beylin, and with John Moyer as a guest artist at the Frick Vocal Series in Pittsburgh, with various collaborative artists in Aspen, in concert with the National Episcopalian Bishops Conference in Denver, and with Enza Ferrari and colleagues in Oderzo (Italy). In addition to making her successful New York debuts at both Carnegie (Weill) and CAMI halls, she recently performed in Carlos Castañeda, Jr.'s world premiere "I Should Be Speechless" and as the soprano soloist in Saul with One World Symphony. Most recently, Ms. Keightley sang the role of Maddalena in Andrea Chenier.
Melissa Manning, Founder and Director of The Manning School of Music, is a Juilliard trained concert pianist. She attended the Manhattan School of Music and Montclair University as a piano performance major. She won the piano concerto competition at Montclair and performed the Rhapsody In Blue with the Montclair Concert Jazz Band. At the age of 17, she was accepted to a college level summer program in Switzerland in conjunction with Syracuse University and Ecole de Hindemith. She performed in weekly soirees at the Chalet de la Gloriette and in concert with the Suisse Romande Orchestre. Melissa was the recipient of numerous scholarships including those from The Miss America Scholarship Foundation. She was chosen first runner up to Vanessa Williams, Miss America, and was crowned Miss New York State. She toured with the USO Metropolitan for 3 weeks and performed in every VA Hospital in NY State. She has music directed, “Kiss Me Kate”, “How To Succeed In Business Without Really Trying”, “My Favorite Year”, and will be directing 3 children’s musicals this summer. She has worked as a church organist and choir director since 1986 and is currently Music Director at the Ho-ho-kus Community Church in NJ. Melissa has produced the Opera Night Concerts at L’Artista Italian Restaurant and other venues in Rockland County since April 2006, accompanying a variety of operatic singers including sopranos, mezzo-sopranos, tenors, and baritones.
